-Saddles fit tightly in the bridge to eliminate any side to side movement or annoying vibrations.

This bridge, like any piece of hardware, will perform best on a guitar that is set up well. I highly recommend a slighter thicker string gauge (I prefer 11s but 10s can do the trick) and a neck shim to give you an increase in down pressure on the bridge.
