National Reso-Phonic Style O 14 Fret 2017 Resonator Acoustic Guitar

Here for sale we have a National Reso-Phonic Style O 14 Fret in a Bright Nickel finish. Built in the USA in 2017, this resonator acoustic guitar features a Brass body with a single 9.5" biscuit cone, a Figured Hard Rock Maple neck, a 19 fret Ebony fingerboard with Ivoroid binding, along with a bone nut. 

The neck plays very well, with a comfortable soft 'V' profile, giving ergonomic thumb positioning and feeling quite wide in the hand, great for both fingerstyle and slide. Weighing in at 8.35lbs this is certainly on the heavier side, however the Brass body offers a lively and responsive playing experience with superb dynamic control, resonating beautifully.

The O 14 Fret has a tight and punchy tone that easily cuts through the ensemble, without the need for heavier gauge strings, the biscuit cone projecting with ease. Despite how loud it is, the midrange is surprisingly smooth and creamy, along with a warm low end, and a clear, articulate top end. Overall an excellent workhorse resonator, great for both slide and fretted playing styles alike, a great example of why National Reso-Phonic are widely regarded as the best in the business!

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition, the headstock displays minimal markings.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, the neck, binding and fingerboard displays minimal markings.  

Body: Overall very good condition, there is light clouding of the metal in places. Light lacquer chipping at the neck heel.

Condition of Frets:

The frets show minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & can be adjusted

Hardware Condition: Excellent condition. The bridge cover is missing a screw.

Structural Condition: No concerns or issues to note
