Canopus Double Neck 8-string Console Lap Steel Guitar with hard case in Cream White
YS-8 SDN circa 1990s
This guitar looks and sounds excellent.
It is almost mint condition, just a couple of light marks and all the chrome is nice and bright and unmarked, the paint is incredible with a beautiful piano finish.
Compete with original hard case and accessories.
I'm pretty sure it's the YS-8 SDN but there's very little information about these and I can't see the part number shown on it anywhere. This one has the rarer head with separate pegs rather than the all in one headstock and is identical to one made for Alan Akaka in the photos on the 2013 waikiki steel guitar week website.
