PRV Audio 8MR400A 8" Alto Series Professional Midrange 8 Ohm From PRV's Alto Series, the 8MR400A 8" midrange/mid-bass is an excellent choice for any high output sound system. PRV drivers are known for their smooth mid-range response with low distortion and this 8" is no exception. With a naturally damped paper cone and cloth accordion surround resonances are kept under control making for an easy transition to a high frequency driver. In addition, the voice coil is wound on a Kapton former with extensive venting ensuring high power handling for extended periods. Handling up to 200 watt RMS and with 94 dB sensitivity this midrange will be right at home in any home, automotive, or professional high SPL design.
