TCS LC-1 STEREO LIMITER COMPRESSOR RUSSIAN BROADCAST MIC COMP + SOVIET BROADCAST + STEREO COMP/LIM made in 1990 y NOS cond-s (never used from stock), all soviet capacitors were replaced, original power wire for 220V and user manual ewith schematic are included.
For your consideration is this extremely rare all-original example of a TCS LC-1 Limiter Compressor. A Russian-made, solid-state, stereo or dual mono broadcast dynamics processor.
This unit could have been made in the Electronica Factory (Bryansk-city) in 1990 year for export or that it could be a precursor to the Audion (another Russian broadcast compressor, popular in the early '80s). Either way, this is a great all-around stereo compressor/limiter in the likes of a pair of Distressors. It really sounds great. This unit features two channels with attack, release, threshold, range (ratio), and out level; gain reduction meters (reads "gain raduction" on the unit); de-esser; sidechain in/out; mono or stereo (link) modes; 1/4" TRS jacks; and military green finish with colorful knobs. It has so much character and usability, it's truly a one of a kind piece. The unit runs at 220V and includes the original power cable . This is one of the most interesting vintage compressors I've come across, and also one of the best-sounding (and looking in my opinion). It's in great cosmetic and perfect working condition. Rare hugo. Looking for a new home.
