Professionally reinforced Yamaha CL945LB

Yamaha tom holder, in like-new condition, professionally modified by a machinist to make it indestructible. Following a change in production methods that began in the 90s, Yamaha tom holders which were virtually indestructible in the 80s were redesigned.

Unfortunately, this redesign included a fundamental flaw: the screw holding the ball-joint components together is inserted from the bottom and secured with thread-locker in a rather crude fashion. Over time, this causes the holder to come apart, potentially leading the drum to fall due to its own weight.

The modification I had applied involves a bolt that passes through from the top (secured with a self-locking nut at the bottom), making the arm indestructible even when supporting very heavy drums. It is effectively guaranteed for life.

I am selling this because I have too many/am changing my setup (I already own others with the same modification; this one is surplus).

Modification cost: 40 euros PER HOLDER (a steep price, but it is now truly indestructible).
