Up for sale are a near serial number matched pair (#34, #36) Ingram Engineering EQ50 500-Series analog equalizer modules (sold as a pair).

Hand-built and designed in the USA with high-grade film caps and low-distortion resistors, the EQ50 is designed for rapid, highly musical tone shaping and track cleanup without phase smear.

It pairs an ultra-musical See-Saw (tilt) equalizer (which simultaneously shifts bass and treble around a 400Hz or 1kHz pivot) with high-pass and low-pass filters. It works exceptionally well on mix buses, stems, and vocal or drum channels.

What Engineers & Publications Say

Barry Rudolph (Music Connection Magazine / 30+ Gold & Platinum Records Engineer):

"The EQ50 is meticulously designed to maintain an accurate phase/amplitude response for a fully transparent signal path when in circuit."

Paul Vnuk Jr. (Recording Magazine):

"On a full mix, a pivot point added heft and warmed up the highs in a very subtle, polished way... The mix was richer and less brittle."

Neil Rogers (Sound On Sound Magazine):

"A nicely conceived collection of simple yet high-quality EQ tools in a single 500-series module... Passes the 'nicer than software' test!"

Michael Frasinelli (Audio Producer News):

"The plugins provide a very good contrast to the Ingram Engineering equalizer's silky result."

Tape Op Magazine (AES Gear Profile):

"Contains extremely versatile and musical sounding low cut, high cut, and see-saw filters... simple and intuitive user interface."

James Bunton (Mastering & Mix Engineer, Slow|Go Sound):

Selected a pair of Ingram Engineering EQ50 Tilt Equalizers for his primary outboard mastering rack setup.

Pro Audio Distribution:

"A mastering-quality 500-series filter set that allows broad frequency response adjustments with a single control knob."
