DISA Preamp rack of 6 pcs Preamp Modules 91B26

The DISA 91B26 is a rare modular microphone preamplifier manufactured in Denmark during the 1960s for professional broadcast applications. This set consists of six original DISA preamp modules installed in their dedicated rack, originally made for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation.

Built around discrete germanium transistor circuitry and high-quality Jørgen Schou audio and power transformers, the 91B26 represents classic Scandinavian broadcast engineering from the period. Its transformer-balanced signal path and early solid-state design give it the distinctive character associated with high-end European recording equipment of the 1960s.

Complete systems of this type are increasingly difficult to find, particularly with multiple matching modules and the original rack and power arrangement.

All six preamp modules are operating normally. The gain switches have been cleaned and the switch knobs have been repaired and secured.
