The Elite Telecaster was produced for only two years, from 1983 to 1984. It is highly regarded as a hidden gem from Fenderfs CBS era.

This guitarfs serial number is E312682. Although the year on the neck date is faded and difficult to determine, it is likely a 1983 model.

The standout feature of this guitar is, without a doubt, its design, which is packed with innovative ideas from that era. Itfs equipped with two noise-canceling pickups featuring custom Alnico II magnets. In addition to the standard volume controls, it features a TBX control and an MDX mid-boost. These specifications can be considered the origin of the Eric Clapton model. When the built-in active circuit (MDX mid-boost) is engaged, it can produce a thick, resonant lead tone reminiscent of a Les Paul.

The Schaller bridge features a unique top-loading design that ensures stable tuning. You can really feel the determination of the era, with its incorporation of various innovative ideas.

As for its condition, there are significant signs of heavy use overall. The paint is heavily chipped around the jack area. Additionally, from the pickup on the right side of the body to the cutaway, it appears to have been filed down?the edges of the pickguard have been smoothed, and the paint in that area has been repainted, resulting in a different texture. Furthermore, the upper strap pin has been repositioned, and there are traces of additional pins installed as part of that relocation. The nut and frets have also been replaced. There is also a crack in the screw hole on the control panel.

Although it shows signs of use as described above, playability is excellent. This is a rare model produced for only two years?please be sure to consider this opportunity.
