1955 Epiphone Century. Serial #68918
Here's a really nice piece of vintage guitar history. I've owned this for about 10 years. A prior owner shellacked the body so I stripped it off.
Can not confirm the pickup brand. I believe it to be a DeArmond. It reads 9.2k ohms, and has a beautiful full balanced sound.
Tuners have been replaced.
Nicks, dings, bumps and bruises evident and I tried to take pics of all...there also appears to be a repair around the truss rod cover. Pickguard is long gone
Neck and frets are in very good condition and it plays great
Comes with an older unknown brand hardshell case, but its in very good condition
Please feel free to ask any questions. The guitar is available for local pickup as well and visual inspection at the Guitar Shop in Titusville,Florida on Cheney Hwy. Come on in and give it a test drive.
