Clarinet is in great shape, solid wood, and wonderful for intermediate players or advanced beginners. It is a fabulous idea for a Christmas gift for an aspiring young clarinetist.
The instrument plays very well, and has beautiful tone.
It is old. I have had it for about 25 years. However, it has been gently and lovingly played, and it has not been played too much. I played it about 5 to 10 times each year for demonstration purposes as a band director.
