The Audio-Technica AT2035 is a side-address large-diaphragm condenser with a fixed-charge back plate element. It handles up to 148 dB SPL (158 dB with the 10 dB pad engaged) and has a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter at 12 dB/octave. The cardioid pattern and low self-noise of 12 dB SPL make it suitable for vocals, acoustic instruments, and amplified sources where isolation from the sides and rear is needed.
Phantom power from 11-52 V DC is required at 3.8 mA typical. Output is a balanced low-impedance 120 ohms through an integral 3-pin XLRM connector. The mic body measures 6.69 in long by 2.05 in maximum diameter and weighs 14.2 oz.
