Up for sale is a classic, vintage Boss CE-2 Chorus pedal. This is the highly desirable Made in Japan (MIJ) version featuring the original Black Label and Black Thumbscrew, dating its production between 1981 and 1984.This pedal features the legendary fully analog bucket-brigade device (BBD) circuit, delivering the incredibly warm, lush, and iconic 80s chorus tones that modern digital emulations can't quite replicate.Condition & Specifications:

• Circuit Board: 100% original 052-516B PCB layout. It features the highly coveted, original Matsushita MN3007 BBD and MN3101 clock driver chips. No modern modifications, sloppy solder repairs, or component swaps.
• Bottom Plate: EXCELLENT condition. Crucially for collectors, there is NO VELCRO on the bottom. The original black product label is 100% intact, completely clean, and entirely free of sticky adhesive residue.
• Cosmetic Condition: Good player-grade condition for its 40+ year age. It shows typical minor play wear and small paint chips on the enclosure corners, but all text remains sharp and fully legible.
• Functional Condition: 100% operational. The Rate and Depth pots turn smoothly without any scratchy audio artifacts, the bypass foot switch engages reliably, and the circuit sounds phenomenal.
• Accessories: Pedal only. Does not include the original box or manual. (Note: The internal 6-digit paper serial number sticker is no longer present inside the battery compartment, which is typical for Japanese Boss pedals of this vintage era).

Powering Note:As an early Japanese Boss pedal, this runs on the vintage 12V ACA power specification.
