Product Details
The Suhr Shiba Drive LE is a limited-edition color model of the Shiba Drive, designed for natural response and smooth distortion.
As an overdrive pedal from Suhr, it's characterized by its ability to enhance the character of the guitar and amplifier while adding rich harmonics. It's a versatile pedal suitable for a wide range of uses, from crunch to lead.
This unit features three knobs (DRIVE, LEVEL, TONE) and a 3-position SMOOTH switch.
The key feature is the easy-to-understand basic operation and the ability to switch the high-frequency response with the SMOOTH switch.
It's easy to adjust the distortion texture depending on the guitar and amplifier used, offering flexibility from standalone use to pushing the amplifier.
The sound is characterized by a smooth overdrive with a strong midrange presence, covering a wide range from light crunch to thick lead tones.
It adds gain while preserving the nuances of picking, making it easy to capture the resonance of each string in chords, and creating rich, harmonically rich tones in single notes.
By utilizing the SMOOTH switch, you can adjust the high-frequency texture to your liking.
With its simple operation and wide gain range, this model is easy to incorporate as both a main overdrive and a booster.
The limited-edition color finish is also one of its attractions, making it a unit that guitarists who want to add Suhr's drive sound to their pedalboard should definitely consider.
