Up for sale is a beautiful, highly sought-after vintage Morris W-603 acoustic dreadnought guitar, meticulously crafted at the famous Moridaira factory in Japan.

Based on the 6-digit serial number (100877), this exact instrument was completed on August 10, 1977. During this legendary Japanese "lawsuit era," Morris was famous for building incredibly accurate, premium-quality tributes to iconic American acoustic guitars. The W-603 is an exceptional, high-quality clone of the classic Martin D-28.

The Standout Feature: A Perfectly Straight Neck

The biggest risk with buying a 50-year-old acoustic guitar is structural shifting, but this specimen is excellent. The neck is perfectly straight, allowing for comfortable playability and great action. The aged spruce top and rosewood body have matured beautifully over the last five decades, delivering a deep, booming bass response, chimey highs, and incredible natural sustain that easily rivals modern guitars costing twice as much. At the last picture there is a irregularity on the laquer, as you can see.
