About this listing
Very cool guitar. I wouldn’t say that this is player grade but it definitely has a lot of patina. Here are the condition notes from my look over:The original neck and Bridge pick up were swapped out at some point. I am not sure what is in it now because they are not branded at least on the top. I have not taken the pickguard off to see. If you want to return it to stock, these originally came with DiMarzio PAF Pro pickups, and they are still being manufactured in blue.It has the common crack coming from the locking nut screw mounts on the back of the neck. They have been repaired very well and I do not see any movement under string tension. The headstock peg head overlay has a chip out of itIt has the common finish cracks coming from the neck pocket. From what I can see, they are only finish deep.It has some miscellaneous dings on the body. A previous owner put their name on the back of the headstock and it has been scribed into the wood. It comes with the original case, but the center combination lock is broken and it is covered in bumper stickers. I do believe these could be removed and the other two latches are just fine. The original neck plate was replaced with a black one.Obviously, it’s pretty far from perfect cosmetically, but it plays and sounds great. I think it would be a great candidate for a restoration project, but it has a honest patina.
