A rare opportunity to own a complete Barcus-Berry Model 1500A preamp with the matching Model 1602 powered 1x15 speaker cabinet.

Introduced in the late 1970s, this modular system was designed as a professional solid-state amplification solution featuring a built-in 100-watt RMS power amplifier in the speaker cabinet and a separate, feature-rich preamp.

Barcus-Berry is best known for its high-quality pickups for acoustic instruments, upright basses and violins, and these amplifier systems were produced in relatively small numbers. Complete matching systems like this are rarely seen for sale today.

Condition

The amplifier has been fully tested and is working exactly as it should.
