Here a beatiful, rare, medium-bore (.525) Courtois trombone, with 8.5 inches bell. Ready to play, just served. This is vintage instrument, in amazing condition compare to its age, difficult to find any even defects. Only imperfections are a couple of irrilevant signs of repairingon, on the tuning slide.

Courtois 151 is a rare professional model produced between the end of the 70's and the early 80's, even more rare with the F trigger (and you will never find any in these conditions) and nickel-silver slide.

Medium bore insruments are the most versatile instruments you can get, the overall sound is beautiful, it can be smooth or funky, the 8.5 bell makes it the perfect instrument for Jazz bands, small combos, 2nd or 3rd trombone in orchestra (maybe not ideal for the 1st parts).

Serial number on the slide is 20950, thus in my understanding this is a 198X model. Slide is excellent, no plating wear on inner tubes, tuning slide and F trigger work perfectly well.

The instrument doesn't have any case, but we can arrange somthing if wanted/needed. no mouthpiece is included.
