The coveted "B" word on a gorgeous '59 Les Paul Reissue...Brazilian rosewood fretboard! This is a 2017 Gibson Custom Shop '59 with a burst inspired by the guitar on page 63 of the Beauty of the Burst book, heavily aged finish over a flame roasted maple top with a Carmelita top carve, solid mahogany body with all-hide glue construction, two E-Bucker humbucker pickups, and a great looking Brazilian rosewood fretboard, just like the original guitars had.
I have mounted a set of Bareknuckles "The Mule" Doubble Cream pickups. Originals are in the case.
NECK
The neck profile on this one is carved to CC #22 Tommy Colletti specs which gives the guitar a very convenient "V" shape like the original 1959 Les Paul Custom it was laser-modeled after. I´d say it feels easy slim.
