This model features checkerboard binding and vintage-style Toaster pickups.

There is ample truss rod adjustment left, and while the neck has some slight waviness and a slight bow, it’s in relatively good condition for a Rickenbacker.

Additionally, the frets have no peaks and about 70% of their original height remains, so you’ll be able to enjoy playing it for many years to come.

Compared to current models, instruments from this era feature a sturdy neck with a solid grip, so you can rest assured regarding its durability.

Instruments with necks like this tend to produce a solid, thick, bass-like sound, so I highly recommend this model to players who are particular about their tone.

The bridge is sitting about 1mm off the body, but this is a common occurrence with Rickenbackers.

The string height can be lowered without issue, so there are no problems with playability as it stands.

The body binding shows signs of having been peeled off and reapplied, but this is also a common occurrence.

It has been neatly reapplied so as not to detract from the instrument’s overall appearance.
