Custom ordered (new) in 2021 from Nick Jones at Noble and Cooley.
I had this made to match one of my vintage 1980's era SS classic NC drumkits.
Beechwood shell, finish is piano black gloss.
8 Brass lugs (instead of the usual 10). Nick had New Old Stock style lugs from the 1980s that he used to match the vintage kit (which I think give the kit a more striking visual ad the lugs are squared at the end of the post, not rounded.....that's the only difference).
Brass Strainer and butt. Chrome flanged hoops.
Basically new, never used outside of the studio.
