Handmade clone of the legendary Keeley 4-Knob Compressor, based on the classic Ross-style compression circuit.
The pedal is fully functional and sounds exactly as intended for this style of compressor: smooth, transparent, and subtle. Unlike more aggressive compressors, this circuit focuses on evening out dynamics rather than providing heavy squash or a significant volume boost.
The raw aluminum enclosure has developed a nice natural patina and gives it a unique boutique appearance.
I’m selling it because I prefer more pronounced, heavily compressed tones. This pedal offers a more subtle and musical compression character, which is faithful to the original Keeley design but ultimately wasn’t the sound I was looking for.
