This interesting 5-string banjo from the English company Windsor in Birmingham is in good condition and comes ready to play in its original case. Thanks to the removable resonator, the instrument can also be played as an open-back banjo.

What makes this banjo special is the hollow neck with its small air chambers in the fingerboard, as well as a tunnelled fifth string. The original chrome-plated hardware, including the Pyxe tailpiece, is also a real eye-catcher.

Length 96.5 cm, scale length 69 cm, nut width 32 mm, body diameter 11 1/8"

The banjo is in good condition with minor signs of age and wear, such as scuffs and discoloration, as well as minimal scratches. Excellent string action makes playing easy. A new Renaissance head and an ebony bridge have been installed. Set up with Nylgut strings.
