Premier snare drum Classic Maple

A great snare drum from Premier. As you probably know in the 2008 Premier closed the UK factory and move to Asia. They added a new line, Classic Maple. This snare is for sure one of the last made with the UK made shells. You can easily confirm that for the internal joint of the wood, the inclinated one is distinctive only for the UK production, the asian one is straight. You can easily made some research on the web to have the proof of that. This shell is 100% American maple made of, 7 plies, 5,7 mm thickness , the same as the previous Elite series, same as the lugs. I personally cleaned it and I changed the screws wit a complete set of stainless steel screws, bolts and washers as shown in the pics. Of course the original screws are available and provided in a separate plastic bag. A great sounding snare, the very last uk production for a reasonable price. Original bottom head and wires. Remo ambassador on top (brand new)
