The Rane ME 30S is a single-channel, 1/3-octave micrographic equalizer in a compact 1U rack-space unit, designed for precise tonal shaping in professional audio systems. Featuring 30 narrow-band sliders, this EQ delivers detailed control over the frequency spectrum from 20 Hz to 100 kHz, making it ideal for live sound, studio, and installation applications.

Key Features:

• Range switch: Toggle between ±6 dB mode for high-resolution adjustments (equivalent to 45 mm sliders) or ±12 dB for broad tonal control.
• Constant-Q design: Each filter maintains a fixed bandwidth for precise, clean corrections without unwanted interaction between adjacent bands—unlike traditional variable-bandwidth EQs.
• Front-panel controls: Overall channel level knob, passive pushbutton bypass with LED indicator (bypass is fully passive, maintaining audio path even if power is lost).
• Balanced I/O: XLR or 1/4" TRS connectors, compatible with unbalanced sources when needed. Accepts and drives all standard signal levels.
• Overload indicators: Provide visual feedback for signal clipping.
