About the guitar
This ES-355 was selected for one simple reason: it is one of the most musical, resonant, and responsive semi-hollows we’ve ever had in our hands. The combination of the laminated maple body, ebony board, and factory PAF bridge pickup creates a tone that is articulate, three-dimensional, and incredibly dynamic. Clean tones bloom, overdriven tones stay tight and vocal. It’s a monster in the studio.
The guitar is all original, down to the smallest detail. No replaced parts, no funny business, no structural repairs. The frets are in outstanding shape for a 60-year-old guitar, and the neck feels like a perfect mid-60s Gibson: elegant, fast, and comfortable.
Cosmetically, this ES-355 is remarkably clean. The finish has aged beautifully, the gold hardware has the right amount of patina, and the overall look screams classic Gibson high-end craftsmanship.
Comes with an original late-60s Gibson case.
