Every once in a while a guitar will come along that perfectly embraces modern design, playability and tone, the end result being a guitar that is perfect for home, stage and studio. The PRS Studio model is a modern take on a traditional single-single-hum guitar.
A traditional Mahogany body sits bellow a beautifully figured Maple top finished in the awesome McCarty Sunburst. This colour choice really brings out the beauty of the Maple. It is perfectly weighted and balanced.
The rich Mahogany neck boasts a lush Rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets, a Pattern neck shape, 25" scale length and of course the classic PRS Birds inlays. This neck is supremely comfortable and allows for great ease when playing.
The PRS Studio is one incredibly versatile instrument thanks to the awesome pickup selection. Loaded with a 58/15LT in the bridge and a sweet pair of PRS Narrowfield Pickups in both middle and neck position. You have vintage scooped tones, and the chunky kick of a bridge humbucker screaming in one instrument. This whole new scope of sounds (that are only possible with a three-pickup guitar) are easily accessible in the Studio model thanks to the push/pull tone control and 5-way blade switch. With seven combinations in all, the PRS Studio covers classic tones but maintains a unique voice making it a perfect "desert island" guitar.
Fitted with a PRS Gen III Bridge and Phase III Locking Tuners you can expect great tuning stability. Make sure to check this guitar out here at Peach.
