A incredibly rare 1940s auricon optical and valve mic pre and amp for recording audio onto 16mm film in the field .
A real collectors piece , but would need some electronics knowledge to adapt to modern use , on the good side , it's completely original even down to the stickers and battery routing stuck to the bottom .
It's also original inside .
The case has a few areas where the paint is peeling .
For its age and rarity it is in great condition , for a builder after vintage parts , this is gold , 5 vintage RCA preamp valves , extremely pretty meters , fantastic huge vintage pots , and switches , the build quality is amazing .
