A nice looking 4/4 violin branded and labelled Stainer from early 1900's. Likely made in Bohemia (southern Germany/ Czechoslovakia) Has handsome amber /red shaded oil finish, nice workmanship and medium flame on back, sides, and neck. Ebony fittings, appears to have a small repair of a puncture on the back, but does not impact tone or playability. String sounding length of 13" (330mm) and length of back is 14 1/4" (360mm). Sounds good, plays well too! Includes a functional case.
