Product Details

The MXR CSP202 Custom Comp is an analog guitar compressor pedal from MXR, a long-established American effects pedal brand.

While inheriting the charm of classic compressors, this model pursues transparency of sound and natural response during playing.

It's a versatile pedal that excels in a wide range of situations, from delicate sound shaping that brings out the guitar's original tone to powerful playing with well-defined notes.

This model employs a high-quality CA3080 metal can op-amp, achieving low noise and smooth compression.

The control panel features two knobs, OUTPUT and SENSITIVITY, allowing for intuitive adjustment of output level and compression intensity.

Furthermore, it includes internal ATTACK and TRIM adjustment functions, enabling fine-tuning to match picking response and input signal.

It also features true bypass, ensuring a smooth signal path when the effect is turned off.

In terms of sound, its appeal lies in its natural and smooth compression that evens out volume variations while preserving the contours of the original sound.

In clean tones, it evens out the clarity of arpeggios and cutting, and clearly expresses the resonance of chords.

In single-note phrases, it enhances sustain, creating a smooth and cohesive sound.

Another feature is that it doesn't excessively alter the tone, making it easy to utilize the original character of the guitar and amplifier.

It supports a wide range of playing styles, from delicate fingerpicking to crisp funk cutting.

Combining simple operation with fine-tuning functions, this model is recommended for those who want to improve the perfection of their clean sound or
optimize the volume balance during performance.

It's suitable for guitarists seeking natural compression, as well as those who want to utilize sustain in their lead playing.

This is an effect pedal you'll want to incorporate into a wide range of playing environments, from daily practice to live performances and recording.
