Large original Akai Professional S01 sound library from the early 1990s, consisting of approximately 250 3.5” floppy disks.

The collection contains a wide range of period sounds including drums, basses, house and techno sounds, leads, pads, strings, percussion, vocals, sax, organ, vibraphone, FX and more.

Included are the original S01 B, S01 D and S01 E 50-disk collection boxes, dated 1993, together with a large number of loose original and labelled Akai disks.

All floppies have been individually tested. The vast majority read correctly. A small handful produced read errors; these may require more advanced recovery tools, or may possibly have been erased by a previous owner.
The collection has always been stored dry and away from direct sunlight.
