The EHB1506MS is a six string, multi-scale EHB series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 2020. It is produced in Indonesia as part of the Ibanez Bass Workshop line.The new EHB design features a chambered body double cutaway body shape with a prominent upper horn and a deep lower scoop. The chambered body has an ergonomic design with a slanted back to enable the player to maintain a similar playing position whether seated or standing.The EHB1506MS features a multi-scale headless design with a poplar burl top on a chambered selected lightweight African mahogany body bolted to a graphite reinforced roasted panga panga and walnut neck with a panga panga fingerboard with 24 stainless steel fanned frets, offset abalone dot position markers, and luminescent side dots. Components include individual Monorail V HS bridges with adjustable string spacing, a pair of Nordstrand Custom Big Split passive pickups, a detachable finger ramp, a Vari-mid 3-band EQ with EQ bypass switch, a locking Neutrik output jack, and Schaller S-Lock strap pins. The hardware is black.
