About this listing
Offered for sale is this 2017 Fender American Professional Jazzmaster with an ash body and in the White Blonde finish (Long & McQuade exclusive run). I bought it used from Long & McQuade in June 2025 and made the following improvements:installed Fender polished chrome locking tuners and had it set up with 10-46 strings (Ernie Ball Regular Slinky) - stock tuners will be included in the case replaced a badly scratched pickguard with an OEM American Professional Jazzmaster pickguard which is very distinctive with the bold streak of yellowhad a small cluster of dings on the "passenger side" professionally touched up by Mackinnon Guitar Co. in Kitchener. The white blonde finish is difficult to repair, and so the repair area is still visible, but barely (see photos #15-17). In addition to the repair described above, there is a small neck pocket crack which can be seen in photo #14. Otherwise, this is a solid, brash (in a good way)-sounding guitar with a satisfying neck shape and gobs of treble and bite. I almost never touch tone knobs on guitars, but on this one, I have to dial it back a bit. Safe to say it'll cut through any mix with ease. Bathroom scale weight is 8.4 lbs.
