This is an almost brand new Fender American Vintage Limited Edition 1957 Commemorative Stratocaster in White Blonde finish made in 2007 with the Original Hard Shell Case. This guitar has NO play wear - event the gold is still bright on the bridge, and i can find no scratches. It also is perfect under blacklight as you can see in the photos. ***Now that rumors are out that Fender is letting go of over half its US mfgr staff and planning to cut production of guitars due to legal expenses and lack of sales. a nitro Strat like this may become difficult to find!***All pots and electronics/wiring is original- no replacements! Very light weight for a Strat- 7.7lbs! This includes all of the case candy (including the original strap (unused). This is my personal guitar purchased new by me from Musicians Friend in 2007. This guitar has been in my temp and humidity controlled and monitored home studio, at ~45 % humidity and 70 degrees year round. The guitar is strung professionally set up and intonated perfectly with new condition Elixir 9-46 strings. As you may notice it also has Gold hardware to go with the white semi transparent finish like a Mary Kay model from the 50s. The frets are slightly gold tinted and the neck has some figure you can see in the pics. This model has a solid alder body with one of the Fender "thin skin" nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. The neck is a one piece maple/maple fingerboard- the fingerboard is part of the neck wood as many Fenders are - resulting in a very bright crisp tone compared to fenders with maple slab board necks which to my ear seem a little darker in tone which I prefer. I am only selling this because I got a fender custom shop closet classic almost identical(except black) to this guitar in specs, in a trade at the the same time I bought this in 2007. So over the years when I need a Strat I always grab the black custom shop - not mostly because of tone but rather because the black CS has the most figured Birdseye maple neck I have ever seen. This 2007 is very similar in tone to that CS. Also notice the stickers are removed and placed inside The case - that is because most stickers become permanent or cause a “tan line” when removal is attempted after being on a guitar for a decade or more. So if you buy a Guitar that 10 years or more old, with the stickers still on the finish or plastics, you should probably plan to keep them there permanently. That’s why I always remove mine.The original pickups are American vintage strat Single-Coils. Original wiring harness (no solder breaks). The neck has a 25.5" scale length 21 vintage frets on a 7.25" radius with a soft "V" shape profile. The Fender american vintage synchronized tremolo bridge with "ash tray" bridge cover is included still wrapped in the original parchment/tissue paper-never used). Original single ply white Pickguard. Includes Original Hard Shell Case which is in excellent condition. Also included is a copy of the Fender Frontline magazine advertising this guitar!The guitar plays great with low action and plenty of truss rod adjustment.No Sales out side of the Continental USA.
