For the AKAI MPC XL, we especially recommend using a tilted stand because the ergonomic angle makes a huge difference in both usability and overall experience. With the device lifted and angled at 30°, the top-section controls are easy to reach and operate comfortably. The touchscreen sits at a more ideal viewing angle, making it easier to see and much more accessible to use - specially when producing in a seated position.

The stand slightly raises the unit so the front-panel connectors can be used freely even in the tilted position, while the small front retaining lips are intentionally kept low to preserve clear access. The stand is intentionally narrower than the full width of the MPC XL and sits within the inner area of the device’s rubber feet, giving 2 practical advantages: it fits better on narrower desks and helps prevent the unit from sliding off the stand when side pressure is applied.

This allow you to use your devices on your desk more ergonomic layout and it may affect about longer flow state when writing or editing music.
