The Novation ZeRO SL MkII is a comprehensive USB MIDI control surface designed for both studio production and live performance. It provides hands-on control over DAWs and plug-ins without the keys found on the standard SL MkII models.

• Encoders & Pots: 8 infinite rotary encoders with 11-segment LED rings and 8 standard pots (270° rotation), all of which are touch-sensitive.
• Faders: 8 touch-sensitive 60mm long-throw faders for precise mixing.
• Visual Feedback: A giant 144-character backlit LCD screen displays parameter names and values the moment a touch-sensitive control is engaged.
• Specialty Controls: Includes a touch-sensitive Speed Dial for controlling any parameter your mouse is currently hovering over, a crossfader, and 8 soft-feel trigger pads.
• Buttons: 32 assignable backlit LED buttons (37 in MIDI mode), including dedicated transport controls.

Connectivity and Power

• MIDI I/O: High flexibility with two MIDI ports. Port 1 includes In, Out, and Thru; Port 2 includes an additional Out.
• Computer Connection: Standard USB port for data and power.
• Pedal Inputs: One 1/4" jack for a sustain pedal and one 1/4" jack for an expression pedal.
• Power: Fully USB bus-powered or can be used with an optional 9V DC power supply. 

Software Integration

• Automap 3 PRO: Automatically maps the hardware controls to major DAWs (Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, etc.) and plug-in instruments/FX.
• DAW Compatibility: Deep integration with Ableton Live allows for launching scenes and clips directly from the backlit buttons.
• Operating Systems: Compatible with Windows (XP/Vista/7 and later) and macOS, though it is not class-compliant and requires drivers.

• Dimensions: Approximately 445 mm (W) x 200 mm (D) x 68 mm (H).
• Mounting: Can be used as a desktop controller, angled with included legs, or mounted in a standard 19" rack with some effort or custom made side-brackets which aren't included.
