Fender FSR American Vintage 62 Jaguar® Thin Skin Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish, Matching Painted Headcap, Dunlop 6105 Frets, Limited Edition Neckplate.
Fender Special Run - 50 of each color for Wildwood in 2007 with Brown Tolex Case.
The Thin Skin finish has begun to crackle (not bad after 19 years!) and gives it an incredible vintage look. It's all original, and as I mentioned before, it was a special edition for Wildwood in 2007. It comes with its case and includes a Tortoise pickguard, which looks great with the Sonic Blue, which has almost turned into Surf Green with age.
I'm including a photo of it with this pickguard, although it now has its original Mint Green.
Condition: Some scratches, dents and marks. If you would like to know more about this specific instrument, or have general questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
NEWS!!!
It just came back from the luthier and the bridge has been replaced with a brand new, original one (the old, rusty one is also included…is clean now!!). The input jack base has been replaced because I noticed it was making some noise (the original is also included). The guitar has been upgraded by installing a StewMac shim, which increases the tension on the original bridge, so there will never be a need for an alternative bridge. It has been set up and cleaned, and it sounds incredible!!!
It has an amazing sound, really the best vintage sound for Surf Music or any kind of music you are looking for.
It is a unique and hard-to-find guitar, and due to its serial number it is a collector's item.
Good luck!!!
