This legendary vintage Polymoog 203A is a project unit, offered as-is for restoration or for parts. It is partially functional and requires servicing on multiple levels.

Condition Overview:

• Functionality: The instrument produces sound, all presets an most of the controls and potentiometers are working but the VCF section does not pass any audio. All other outputs are functional.
• Keyboard: Six keys are non-working (does not produce sound when pressed). One key has a mechanical issue (does not move fully when pressed), a few keys are out of tune or behaving different than the majority of the keys.
• Cosmetics: The top chassis and side trims have been repainted and are not in their original finish. Five fader caps are missing. Six preset button caps are missing. The preset label area is a later reprint, not original.

History & Potential:

This unit was previously owned and used by the legendary Yugoslav rock band Bijelo Dugme. This provenance makes it a fascinating collector’s piece with a storied past.

It represents a solid restoration project for an experienced synth technician or a dedicated Polymoog enthusiast. With the necessary expertise, it can be returned to its former glory. Alternatively, it serves as a valuable source of rare original parts.
