The Dyna Comp Deluxe Compressor brings unprecedented control to the most iconic compression sound in stompbox history. The original Dyna Comp Compressor has always been more than a side effect—guitarists have been using its percussive tonality to liven up their sounds for years. The Dyna Comp Deluxe Compressor circuitry and updated control interface deliver that classic sound along with the ability to shape and flavor it to your tastes. First, this pedal is built around the same “metal can” IC as the CA3080, which brings the vintage performance of the Dyna Comp Compressor to the table with its quieter operation, greater transparency, and greater dynamic range. Then, the Clean control lets you blend the original signal with the compressed signal so you can find the balance that works for you, and the Tone control allows for further refinement of the compressed signal. Use the Attack switch to toggle between a slow vintage-style attack and a fast modern-style attack. Finally, the usual Output and Sensitivity knobs control the volume level and the length of the sustain respectively.
