This Official Gibson P-90 Dogear Underwound Alnico III Pickup is based on the raw, powerful tone that helped define blues and rock and roll in their formative years but this under wound version delivers a bit less output than their standard P90 but with a bright tone that remains clear at any volume, with clearly defined overtones rich in harmonics and with less dampening of string vibrations. It features a shielded single conductor push back braided hookup wire and is fully wax potted to eliminate any chance of unwanted microphonic feedback.
