The CUBO Active is a German-made active FRFR speaker designed primarily for modeling amplifiers, profilers, and multi-effects units. It features two 8-inch coaxial drivers and 2 x 140W RMS stereo amplification (2 x 280W max.), with a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz and a maximum SPL of 125dB. Very compact for a stereo solution, it measures 50 x 25 x 25 cm and weighs 10 kg. It can operate in stereo or mono and, depending on the configuration, offers active volume and 3-band EQ. It is particularly well-suited to Fractal, Kemper, Quad Cortex, Helix, and similar devices, as its relatively neutral sound signature preserves the character of amp and cabinet simulations.
