The Nord Electro 4 HP is a stage keyboard designed to deliver the authentic Nord sound in a compact and lightweight format. The organ section is powered by the renowned Nord C2D Tone Wheel B3 engine, enhanced with improved Key Click simulation, more realistic percussion, and an emulation of the legendary 122 Rotary Speaker, complete with dedicated overdrive. In addition, it features highly accurate recreations of the classic Vox Continental and Farfisa Compact Deluxe organs, faithfully capturing the distinctive character of the original instruments.
The piano section is based on the Nord Piano Library, offering a premium selection of acoustic pianos, electric pianos, clavinets, and harpsichords sampled using advanced techniques. The String Resonance (Gen 1) and Long Release functions further enhance realism and expression, providing a more natural playing experience.
Internal memory can be expanded and updated using the Nord Sound Manager, allowing users to install new sounds available for free from the Nord Sound Library. USB/MIDI connectivity, MIDI Split mode for controlling a second keyboard, and a comprehensive onboard effects section make the Nord Electro 4 HP an exceptionally versatile instrument for both stage and studio applications.
