By the end of the 1950s, the Telecaster had firmly established its reputation as the 'workhorse,' but for the player looking for a guitar with the versatility of a Tele and a more distinct personality, there were few choices left. Then came the Telecaster Custom, which debuted in 1959, featuring an elegant double-bound body and a rosewood fingerboard; both firsts for the Telecaster.
This '60 Telecaster Custom certainly has a more distinct personality thanks to the reliced 3-Color Sunburst finish! The look is perfectly complemented by white binding and a pickguard.
With a rosewood fingerboard, a 9.5-inch radius, and a '60 Style Oval C' neck profile, this is a true joy to play. The '63 Telecaster pickups give it the characteristic twang, bell-like tones, and a healthy dose of punch.
The guitar was built in 2023 and is in excellent condition. Due to the reliced finish, wear marks are difficult to distinguish, but the guitar is very clean. An absolute classic in a striking package!
This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
