Up for sale is my pair of original, Irish-made Sennheiser HD 650s.

I have owned and used these for over 10 years as part of my studio reference chain. They have been well-cared for in a non-smoking studio environment and remain in excellent working order.

This is an original Irish-made production unit. Within the audiophile community, these Irish-made HD 650s are highly sought after as the "classic" standard for the model, widely regarded for the consistency and build quality that solidified the HD 650’s reputation as a reference benchmark. They are not merely a current-production pair; they are an authentic piece of the line’s history.

Condition:

• Functional: These are in perfect working condition. They have been used regularly, meaning the drivers are fully broken in and stable. The sound signature is the classic, smooth, non-fatiguing HD 650 reference.
• Cosmetic: These have been handled with care, but they are not a "time capsule." There is light, honest wear consistent with a decade of gentle use. There are no cracks, stress marks, or structural issues; the headband and yokes are solid. The finish is clean, and the unit has been well-maintained. It is recommended to get new ear pads (cushions) anyways for hygienic reasons. Although, to old ones are still holding shape well.

They have been my reliable go-to for years, but it is time for them to find a new home where they will be used.
