For sale is a true vintage beauty from 1912. Serial number is 13348.
Fantastic sound with deep, warm, full, beautiful mids and trebles, lots of sustain, perfect playability and action - everything you want in a world class mandolin of that type.
It has the "Bill Monroe - Mod":The peghead scroll is missing. The back center seam shows a professional repair a long tome ago. Finish looks very shiny, careful polish work done by an experienced local luthier but not oversprayed.
Comes with a rectangular newer case.
