Up for sale is a top-tier, professional stereo microphone preamplifier setup. This is a custom configuration combining one of the best 500-series power supplies with two legendary preamp modules.

What’s included in this build:

• The Chassis: Avedis Audio Electronics R52. A highly sought-after 1U rack designed to horizontally mount two 500-series modules. Avedis is famous for its robust, over-spec'd power supplies, providing massive headroom and ultra-low noise. It also features a front-panel "Link" switch for stereo operation.
• The Preamps: 2x A-Designs P-1 Modules. These are A-Designs' modern take on the legendary Quad Eight preamps. They deliver a huge, punchy, and thick analog tone with a beautiful top-end sheen. Features custom-wound transformers, front-panel DI (perfect for bass/synths), 48V, Pad, and Phase reverse.

Condition & Features:

• Cosmetics: Rated as "Good". The internal components and faceplates are in excellent shape. The top/bottom metal covers show typical rack rash, oxidation, and scratches from being mounted in a busy studio rack (see photos).
• Functionality: 100% fully functional. Pots are smooth, switches engage perfectly.
• Worldwide Power: The Avedis R52 features a switchable AC Input (115V / 230V / 100V). It is currently set for European 230V but can be easily switched for US buyers without needing an external step-down transformer!

IMPORTANT CONDITION & VIDEO PROOF:

Please note that due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, our studio is currently closed and the equipment has been in secure storage.

• Current Verification: For every sale, we record a fresh personalized video before packing. In this video, you will see the unit’s serial number and a "Power-On" test.
• Testing status: The unit is confirmed to power up and pass audio flawlessly. Due to the studio being on pause, we cannot record a new full-band tracking session, but we guarantee its working condition.
• Sold "As-Described": The item is sold in "As-Is" condition with no returns due to international shipping logistics, unless it arrives in a condition different from the photos or the pre-shipping video. We are professional engineers and stand by the quality of our gear.
