🔥 Blackstar HT-5 Head + HT-110 1x10 Cabinet – Classic Tube Tone, No DSP Nonsense 🔥

If you’re hunting for real tube feel at real-world volumes, this is the one people still chase for a reason.

This is the original-era Blackstar HT-5 head paired with the matching HT-110 1x10 cabinet — the combo that made bedroom, studio, and small-gig players finally stop apologizing for their tone.

🎸 Why This One Beats the Newer Versions

Let’s be honest: the newer HT series went heavier on digital voicing and modern polish. Fine for some.
This one?
This one feels like an amp.

All-tube signal path where it matters
• More organic breakup, less “pre-processed” feel
• Cleans that bloom instead of shimmer artificially
• Overdrive that reacts to your pick attack and guitar volume, not just the knob

This version is widely preferred by players who want:
✔️ Pedals to sound right
✔️ Real amp compression
✔️ Studio-friendly saturation
✔️ Touch sensitivity over presets

🔊 The Rig

HT-5 Head
• 5-watt all-tube design
• ECC83 (12AX7) preamp + 12BH7 power section
• Two channels: Clean + Overdrive
• ISF control (British ↔ American voicing sweep)
• Emulated line out for silent recording
• Effects loop
• Footswitchable channels (included)

HT-110 Cabinet
• 1x10 speaker (tight, focused, punchy)
• Perfect match for the HT-5 — no flub, no boxiness
• Ideal for recording and apartment-friendly setups
• Handles way more volume than you’d expect

This cab absolutely punches above its size, especially for rock, blues, doom-adjacent riffing, and classic crunch tones.

🧠 Condition

• Fully functional
• Clean controls
• Normal cosmetic wear for its age (nothing abused, nothing hidden)
• Footswitch and power cable included

This has clearly been owned by someone who played it, not someone who left it gathering dust or abused it at rehearsal volumes it was never meant for.

🎶 Who This Is Perfect For

• Players who hate menu-diving
• Pedalboard users
• Home studio folks who want mic-worthy tone
• Anyone who misses when amps were simple, loud, and honest
• People who know that “5 watts” can still scare a landlord

This is in pretty good shape. No rips on the tolex. All of the knobs and switches work and are original. It comes with the footswitch, the power cable and the speaker cable to connect the head to the cab.

This is perfect for someone who wants a reliable tube amp that is small and easy to transport that can be used for gigging, especially when either micced or run through the cab sim. This cab sim is analog, not digital, so this has a more natural feel rather then the digital sim stuff. It also has a headphone jack. This means that you could record or even just practice in your apartment with your headphones on, which is great for an amp like this.

It also allows you to change the "colour" of the amp, to be either more "American" or more "British" with the knob making it easy to have it "somewhere in between", which means you might be able to find "your sound" with just a simple twist of the knob.

Keep in mind that I am willing to SHIP this, however the shipping will be extrodinairely high if you're out of Country. The tariffs to the USA are sucky, so keep that in mind. If you're somewhere else in the World, well, look that up before you start the purchasing process. No one wants to get caught with their pants down on the tariffs for this one.
