The Jimi Hendrix System Octave Fuzz JH-3S was a limited edition octave fuzz pedal built by MXR in the early 1990s. This handwired pedal used germanium resistors. It's amazingly dirty but cleans up well with the guitar volume knob. It has great sustain and the controls makes this pedal more versatile than you might think.
