Popularized by Police frontman Sting, among many other well-known bass players, this super cool MC940 fretless is an absolute dream to play. Featuring a neck-thru design with gorgeous, dark-stained ash wings & active electronics.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the bass is in good shape & has nice vibe to it.
Neck: Maple & walnut neck with ebony fingerboard & micro dot inlays. 1 11/16" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Neck-thru design with solid ash wings in dark natural finish. The body shows off some really pretty grain patterns. Top-loading, high-mass brass bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. Bass weighs 10 lbs 7.7 oz.
Electronics: Two Super 4 single coils with 3-way pickup selector. Master volume, passive tone, boost/cut, treble, mid, and bass knobs. 2-way mini toggle switch to activate the active preamp/three-band EQ. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case excluded.
