I am selling the Hartke HF44 here; it produces a really great sound, even when paired with an extremely affordable Harley Benton bass amp. Sonically, I wouldn't want to part with it, but I am currently trying to put together a streamlined bass setup (first I tried the Tonex One, now the EHX Battalion) that allows for easy recording while also suiting the bass—which is only a rarely played secondary instrument for me. In that context, the Hartke has become somewhat redundant—and honestly, it’s far too awesome a pedal to just sit there while a guitarist plugs their DIY bass into it once every three months. This unit deserves to be used.
